18.  *     قال اخرج منها مذؤوما مدحورا لمن تبعك منهم لاملان جهنم منكم اجمعين     qal aKrj mnha mXWwma mdHwra lmn tb`k mnhm lamlan jhnm mnkm ajm`yn     He (God) said: "Get out/emerge from it expelled/degraded, expelled/driven away, whom (E) followed you from them, I will fill (E) Hell from you all/all together (E)."     (God) said: "Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee,- Hell will I fill with you all.

19.  *     وياادم اسكن انت وزوجك الجنة فكلا من حيث شئتما ولاتقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمين     wyaadm askn ant wzwjk aljn+ fkla mn Hyx $Ytma wlatqrba hXh al$jr+ ftkwna mn alZalmyn     And you Adam, reside/inhabit you and your wife/spouse the Paradise, so you (B) eat from (it) where/when you (B) willed/wanted, and do not approach/near this/that the tree, so you (B) become/will be from the unjust/oppressive.     "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."

20.  *     فوسوس لهما الشيطان ليبدى لهما ماورى عنهما من سواتهما وقال مانهاكما ربكما عن هذه الشجرةالا ان تكونا ملكين او تكونا من الخالدين     fwsws lhma al$yTan lybdi lhma mawri `nhma mn swathma wqal manhakma rbkma `n hXh al$jr+ala an tkwna mlkyn aw tkwna mn alKaldyn     So the devil talked to/gave evil suggestions and temptations to them (B) to show to them (B) what was hidden/concealed from them (B) from their (B)'s shameful genital private parts, and he said: "Your (B)'s Lord did not prevent you (B) from that/this tree except that you (B) become/be two angels or you (B) become/be from the immortal/eternal."     Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for eve r."

21.  *     وقاسمهما اني لكما لمن الناصحين     wqasmhma any lkma lmn alnaSHyn     And he swore/made oath to them (B): "I am to you (B) from (E) the advisors/counselors."     And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.

And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

23.  *     قالا ربنا ظلمنا انفسنا وان لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرين     qala rbna Zlmna anfsna wan lm tGfr lna wtrHmna lnkwnn mn alKasryn     They (B) said: "Our Lord, We caused injustice/oppressed ourselves, and if You do not forgive for us, and You have mercy upon us, we will be/become from the losers."     They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost."

With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time."

25.  *     قال فيها تحيون وفيها تموتون ومنها تخرجون     qal fyha tHywn wfyha tmwtwn wmnha tKrjwn     He said: "In it you live, and in it you die, and from it you are brought out."     He said: "Therein shall ye live, and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last)."

We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness,- that is the best. Such are among the Signs of God, that they may receive admonition!

27.  *     يابني ادم لايفتننكم الشيطان كما اخرج ابويكم من الجنة ينزع عنهما لباسهما ليريهما سواتهما انه يراكم هو وقبيله من حيث لاترونهم انا جعلنا الشياطين اولياء للذين لايؤمنون     yabny adm layftnnkm al$yTan kma aKrj abwykm mn aljn+ ynz` `nhma lbashma lyryhma swathma anh yrakm hw wqbylh mn Hyx latrwnhm ana j`lna al$yaTyn awlya' llXyn layWmnwn     You Adam's sons and daughters, (let) not the devil test/misguide/betray you as/like he brought out your parents from the Paradise, he removes/pulls away from them (B) their (B)'s cover/dress to show them (B)/make them (B) understand their (B)'s shameful genital private parts; that he sees you, he and his group/tribe from where/when you do not see them, that We made the devils guardians/allies to those who do not believe.     O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We m ade the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.

Say: "That God does not order/command with the enormous/atrocious deeds, do you say on (about) God what you do not know?"     When they do aught that is shameful, they say: "We found our fathers doing so"; and "God commanded us thus": Say: "Nay, God never commands what is shameful: do ye say of God what ye know not?"

Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) pure ly for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand.

They said: "They were misguided from us, and they witnessed/testified on themselves that they truly, they were disbelieving/disbelievers."     Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against God or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where a re the things that ye used to invoke besides God?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected God.

He said: "For every/each/all (is) double, and but you do not know."     He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all" : but this ye do not understand.

No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did !"

Our Lord's messengers had come with the truth." (Even so), if similar vanities came their way, they would (again) seize them. Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them, that they would not ascribe to God anything but the truth? and they study what is in the Book. But best for the righteous is the home in the Hereafter. Will ye not understand?
